Ok, hypothetically. Smartass :P I know it'd be different in the real situation, but I want to know what people THINK about it, not actually aim a gun at them and then see!

Nobody has a clue who'd they take a bullet for. It seems the majority of people will do so for their children and other family members, and I'm no different. However, when you're actually in a situation where someone else is in grave danger, you would be surprised at the bravery of otherwise timid folks.

Whomever God put on the other side of me and somebody who pulled a trigger. The "expected" answers to this one include kids, family, and friends. But hypotheticals like this are silly. The bottom line is nobody can really orchestrate a situation like this and truly none of us really know what we would do in a situation that stressful.

The answer for a christian should really be - Who would you not be willing to take a bullet for? - If we are living the way Christ would have us live, our lives wouldn't matter. The worst thing that could happpen if a christian took a bullet for a non-christian would be that the non-christian would still continually reject the message of love that Christ proclaimed. I would be willing to lose my life if the only reason was so that a non-christian might be given more time for God to reveal himself to the non-christian.

My wife, a member of my family, or a close friend. I'd even take a bullet for a child or other innocent. That's just the kind of person I am.

Any member of my family, any member of my fiance's family and I'd take a bullet for just about anyone, even my enemies. Just the person I am.

I should be willing to take one for anybody, but I can't say that without lying to myself. I'm a sinner, and I'm ashamed to say I would save myself before I would take a bullet for most people.
