Are you willing to tell us why Moms and Dads, brothers and sister, grandparents and best friends are not allowed to watch their loved one get married in the temple just because they don't measure up?

Supposedly because the temples and rituals involved are too "sacred" for just anyone. Here are some of the requirements for a temple recommend which is needed in order to visit a temple. Perfect attendance at church, regularly pay tithing, abstain from smoking, alcohol and caffeine and surrender your will and your life to the church. It also helps to be a good liar and fake because I knew several "good" Mormons who smoked and drank but hid it from the Bishop so they could carry on with their charade of being devout and faithful.

I have never seen any Mormon take joy in the fact that certain family members can't attend ordinances in the temple. It is usually a sad and difficult thing.

Has this happened to you, Mav? Don't feel like you've missed that much. Most Mormons have receptions following a wedding where everyone is invited. They try to make everyone have a part in it.

That does not sound like a religion but more like a dictatorship that has a bunch of robots for a congregation. They don't have the right to do that. For the Bible makes it clear that you should judge not unless yea be judged. But then again there are many cults that take on the name of a religion but in truth they don't really have God into their lives................................
