im able to tell every other guy "i love u" but i dont know if i can tell my crush that b/c of the thought of how he would react so how can i say "i love u" meaning as friends?

Yes, because if you have a crush on this person, saying it as a "friend" is not being truthful to yourself, or them.

The loose use of "I Love You' could very well cause a problem in this and similar cases. For you the term has much less meaning than for some others. I only use it to indicate a very intimate feeling others ,as you, use it to mean you like them as a friend. Do you have another term that you would use to tell someone that you actually loved them? How about just telling him you really like him.
