First you have to be a friend, second the unbeliever must see a person that is different than the unbeliever.
Regardless of popular belief, NO ONE can lead anyone to Christ if they do not obey rules at work. The unbeliever who is on time works and does not break company rules will not be impressed with a christian who comes to work, punches in one minute early, then goes to the bathroom, gets some coffee, talks to everyone and finally about 30 minutes or so later sits down to work. A unbeliever who works and does not stray from company rules will not be impressed with someone sneaks into their email account sends emails to friends on company time, or plays chess while at work.
Unbelievers are not impressed with a Christian who justifies sin with, "Every one sins and falls short and I am just a saved sinner, Jesus is working on me."
Anyone who does not believe the bible is not a good candidate to witness to, because if they do not believe the bible they will not believe the message the best way to reach people is to live a life that is above blame bible calls this a blameless life. Blameless is not same as sinless, but when a person is at work on time, works the whole time, obeys all rules, never complains about salary, never speeds, or runs red lights, and lives a life that is totally different, then how could any unbeliever resist asking that person his or her secret?

So you want to force your friends to think as you do, but since they've never asked you're not sure how to go about it? You're making the assumption that because your friends aren't Christian then they're too stupid to make their own decisions and need your professional guidance?
So many here ask why atheists don't believe in God, and the overwhelming response is that Christianity was forced on them so much that they grew to despise it. Do you want to be that catalyst?
Trust me, if they are REALLY your friends and you want to keep them, leave God out of your conversations. Otherwise you're GUARANTEED to push them away from your God forever. Let them make their own choices.

Let's try for a little empathy here.
1. I'd like you to entertain the idea, just briefly, that other people have different views of how to conduct their lives.
2. It may be a stretch, but imagine one of those friends thinking: "What do I tell religious people about intellectual freedom, unfettered thinking, and the role of myth in social institutions, comparative religious studies (who's right?)" (If this is a bit much, then go back to 1.)

Don't force God or Christ on anyone. God wouldn't want to be forced down someones throat...God decides when and how and to whom He wants to be known. You risk turning a person off God completely, IF you push at them.
Pray for them to turn to Christ, and as God tells us, be ready with an answer IF they ask. Show by your way of life, by examples, what Christ has done for your life...
God Bless you...

I'm an Atheist with MANY MANY MANY Christian friends.
We have talks occasionally, but they know my stance on my non-belief.
If they are truelly your friends, and they have made it clear to you that they aren't interested, then let it be. If you try to force your beliefs on them in ANY way, you could jeopardize your friendship.
Wait until they question you about your religion. If they want to know more about it, they will ask. Also, if the topic comes up, use that time to state your thoughts without overkilling it.
Just love them for who they are, not what they believe.

Dear Mike, I belive it is important that we follow in the steps of the Mster (Jesus) and witness as he did. How dd he wittness? he used the moral Law (Ten Commndments) to bring about the knowledge of sin. The Law is a School master, its lik a mirror that shows us our true condition. How can we put this into practice? its easy, here are thge four steping stone that will take you through any wittnessing incounter and you wont get lot, you wont get into a argument, becaus when you use th Law, your not adressng the inttelect, btrathr your contacting the conscience.
ere are the stepping stones, Just Rember my Name WDJD.
This stands for What Did Jesus DO? First off, its important to begin i the natural realm, youdont want to Just start talking about Jesu off the cuff, becase they will probably close the door. The easiest way to do it is to be talking to your freinds and ask hem if they went o church or saw that "religious program" on tv last night. It takes courage, but once you have broght this up, then you can ask them, What they belive about the afterlife and what happens whn we die. Here is where the four steping stones come in.
W- Ask them, "would you cnsider yourself to be a good person?"
ths is very inofensive and your simply asking them to describe themselves.. Most people will say "yeah, Ima pretty good peson."
D- Next, ask them if they thik they have kept theTen Commandments. You can then proceed through the ten Commandments. I like to begin with the sins of the flesh. For exampl, I ask them....... "Have you ever told a Lie?" "Have you ever stolen someting?" "Have you eevr looked at someone and had lustful thougts? if so, Know that Jesus called ths adultery of the heart." have you ever used Gods nam in vain?" Once your through with these questions you can move on to the next stepping stone
J- Ask your listeners if The were Judged today by thse Commadments, if hey thin they would be inncent or guilty. (If they say innocent reind them that by there own admission there lying thieving blasphemous adulterers at heart) your not being snooty, our just refring to there own admission of guilt.
D_ ask them i they would go to heaven or to Hell. If they say Heaven, remind them that the BIble says all liars will have there part in the lak of fire and no thief or adulterer will enherit he kingdom of God. At this point you hve a very important role, watch there mouth, if there still Justifyin hemselves, go trough few more commandments. If they continue arguing and justifying themselves, Dont share The Gospel withthem, rather remind them that i they stand beofre God they ave a multitude of sins and that God must by nature bring abou Justice. If there mouths are stopped, and they are no longer Justifying themselves, then magnify the Gospel, tell them of How Jesus suffred and died on the cross fo there sins and How he aroseon the tird day defeating death. and Most importantly, tell them that the BIble says if they will repent (turn from sin) and place there faith and trust in Jesus, God will forgive them and grant them the gift of everlasting life.
re,eber to always pray beofre sharing your fait, and when they try to get you off track, remeber these steppin stones and keep sharing with them.
God Bless
WDJD

Believe me, they've heard of Jesus by now, and if they really wanted to know more they would ask you. They are probably thankful that you keep your mouth shut about it.
I would suggest you continue doing just that or you will lose those friends.
Don't be obnoxious. It's not cool.

Just set an example. Try to be the best you can and when asked what makes you who you are then tell then Christ and wait for them to come to you. With me it is that I tell people when they ask me somethings I tell them "Thanks to God." When I get a look like I am nuts then I tell them "It is my faith that has gotten me threw and everything is in titled to think what they think." Just let him shine threw you and then the rest will come.

I tell non-Christians that Jesus is a god/human hybrid invention of delusional superstitionism (religion) that cannot exist because god/gods do not exit.

It's easy....there are two choices in this life....Obey Jehovah God and learn what his will is for us so we can live forever...or die
God put us here and has things he wants us to do.
If we don't care to learn we will be punished whether we believe in Him or not.
