yep so i need to know because im petite im 5'. i have an hourglass body and im not a little super skinny lady. my boyfriend and i broke up because i caught him with another girl and when i asked him wat the hell he was doing he said a couple things and also that she was taller than me. he also said well most guys want tall skinny model types. i was lk ok wow. so guys, whats the scoop. should i feel pretty bad about being small?

YES! Guys do like petite women. They like large and tall women too! Pretty risky asking for strokes on Yahoo Answers.
Your guy cheated because he's a looser. That's all. Don't let what happened ruin your self esteem. It's not all about good looks. Find a guy that is loyal and has real qualities that are up to your standards. It's tricky, but you'll be much happier that if you base your choices for a romantic relationship on looks alone.

Some of us prefer the petites, your body types are the ones that I actually prefer, some guys do prefer the tall skinny ones. Don't feel bad about being small, be proud, 'cause some of us really like you girls shorter.

I am on the same page as u. But all guys are different some men like fat some like petite and some like just right looking girls. The best person to ask would be a guy!

Listen up. If you have a hot body (Britney Spears when she was actually hot..you know, no love handles, ammazing stomach, nice ***, and hot legs (you don;t have to be tall to have nice legs) just be thin (but not too thin...like models (ewww!!!) and if you are pretty you will find a guy...guys only care about a girl with a hot body and face (I'm short too....and this summer I had 8 guys going after me...and I;m 5'1/

I'm also 5 feet tall and have never had a problem finding a boyfriend. My 27 year old daughter is 4'10" and doesn't have a problem either. Just because this guy likes tall women, doesn't mean thay all do.

What an A**Hole! Don't you even dare feel bad about how you look. He is an extremely shallow person and you should just forget about him. Everyone has there preferences and they vary widely. I know alot of guys who love their women to have junk in the trunk. From my experience, men also like to have something to grab onto. You're most likely a hot chick and he is just a slime-ball. actually the better body is skinny but not to skinny. Most guys like a little bit of meat on their girls it gives them more curves and just looks sexier. Look at all the latina women they aren't skinny they are just right
