Tesco

Well, since ethically I don't shop at Tesco I say Sainsbury. But then I haven't tried them all!

I can however tell you Sainsbury's are rarely late (and give you £10 if they are), the substitutions are generally acceptable and they are very quick to resolve any problems (though I haven't had many!) I got my delivery today and received a 'bag for life', some mince pies, chocolate, cleaning products and herbal tea bags - all complimentary. I was very pleased!

You have access to a 'usuals' list and the last few orders are saved which means that I can quickly order what I want. Orders over £70 on Tuesday, Wed and Thurs are free delivery. (Other times £5). Hope that helps!

I tried Tesco but they changed my everyday loaf for some crap small bread that wasn't anything like a normal loaf. But I had to have it as I'd got no bread.

I tried ASDA, the first time everything was delivered fine. The second time, I waited and nothing came, I went to the site and checked my order date, it stated that they didn't deliver in my area, I telephoned they said I would get my order.

I never did get my order, they just stopped delivering in my area and couldn't be bothered to tell me even though I was waiting for an order and telephoned them. I'm still waiting for a reply to my letter, which was sent several months ago.

Tesco

Tried Asda, they were o.k for a while, but they started to send all the wrong stuff, or not send it at all. And where you have the choice to be sent an alternative, and you say no, they send it anyway, Tesco has never done that to me. Took a while for Asda to refund my money as well. They are cheaper but you get what you pay for.

freshdirect.com is by far the best. They have a great selection of quality food, not outrageous prices and an amazingly efficient delivery system. Too bad they only deliver in New York City.

Tesco used to be terrible for fobbing off all there nearly out of date stuff onto their internet shoppers. This hasn't happened to me for a while. Waitrose (Ocado) is superb, but expensive.

Tesco at the moment.

Iceland are ok if you want freezer food.

And I can't wait for Asda to do home delivery in our area.

Tesco for sure. You can get everything in the one place and it's delivered to your door when you want it.

You never need to venture outside again!!

waitrose/ocado are great, always dead on time, never try to pass off nearly out of date food, really friendly delivery guys who always bring the deliveries in the lift up to the 3rd floor where I live.

My neighbour used tescos, they wouldn't take anything up to her flat.
