I'm not sure about mosley, but hopkins is a partner, not an employee. As for the next guy that beats him, it would have to be in Oscar's best interest to be employed by him, and what could he possibly gain by "hiring" Floyd. I don't think Floyd needs a job, anyway.

I believe Mosley and Hopkins are actually business partners with De La Hoya. They are part of Golden Boy Promotions. Yeah they wanna make some $$$$$. But one of their goals is also to protect the fighters and look out for the fighters best interests. Ya never know. He could hire pretty boy Floyd. Does Floyd have the savvy business wise that Mosley and B Hop have?

Floyd Mayweather wont be hired by Oscar De La Hoya. The best words i can describe why not would be simple. "Floyd is too good"

It is about time boxers did things for themselves. Just like workers, they must seize the means of production. Lock out the crooks, Arum and Don King.
