What about tagliatelle carbonara.
Serves 2
Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time 15 mins
175g/6oz tagliatelle
1tbsp olive oil (i use sunflower)
4 bacon rashers, finely sliced
1 garlic clove, peeled and finely chopped
3 eggs
salt and pepper
To garnish
55g/2oz Parmesan, grated
1tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Cook the pasta over a medium heat in a saucepan of salted boiling water according to the instructions on the packet.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the bacon over a high heat for 5 mins or until crispy. Add the chopped garlic and mix well, but don't burn the garlic.
Break the eggs into a bowl and beat well. Add seasoning but remember the bacon is salty.
When the pasta is cooked, drain in a colander.
Add the pasta to the bacon and mix well.
Pour in the eggs and very quickly stir into the pasta so that the eggs start to set. Remove from the heat and serve immediately on hot plates, sprinkled with Parmesan. Garnish with the parsley.
My boyfriend loves this dish!
I have been known to use spaghetti if i haven't got tagliatelle and it works fine.
Whatever you do i'm sure it will be nice.

As its colder now why not make a stew. All you need to do is cut up some stewing steak, cut some carrots(cut them at an angle that way they cook quicker) make enough gravy to cover all put in caserole dish in oven at 180 for 45 mins and your done. To make your own gravy put a heaped spoon of cornflour an oxo cuble into a little warm water and stir till not lumpy then top up with water till about a pint. Have some mashed totties with it and it will be great.

Fry some bacon. Chop into pieces.
Fry onion, green pepper and loads of herbs till ready
Add one tin of chopped tomatoes
Add some tomatoe puree or Sundried tomatoe paste.
Fry mushrooms in some butter add enough salt and pepper add little bit of milk and thicken with some Cornflour that you have stirred into milk before adding it to the mushrooms. When juice of tomatoes have cooked to nearly nothing add creamed mushrooms to ingredients and serve on spaghetti or whatever pasta you prefer.
You can use tinned creamed mushrooms if you like . Serve with little side-salad or garlic bread. Whatever is left-over can be frozen and tastes just as well the next time. I freeze loads of food and saves me money and having to cook all the time.
Try it ok:))

Actually it depends what you've got in but you could do a chicken stir-fry served on a bed of rice.
Or what about a hot bowl of soup, (you may have to nip into Tesco's and buy the Covent Garden Thai Chicken one) and then have that with some crusty bread

relies upon what you desire to do with them, and how adventurous you're feeling. I surely does not shallow fry them! in case you like some thing state-of-the-artwork yet speedy and effortless, i could shove them in a sealable freezer bag, with some purple wine, sparkling bashed garlic and sage, seal the bag, and go away to marinade mutually as you get on with something of the arrangements. Slice up some button mushrooms, and fry in garlic oil and black pepper. upload a tin of tomatoes, and a few Italian herbs - oregano, sage, rosemary - a mixture of aromatics. Then, i could upload a robust glug of wine to the sauce. go away to a minimum of one facet. Take your beef steaks, and lay (with all of the juices) interior the backside of a casserole. upload your tomato and mushroom sauce on top. cover, and put in a pre-heated oven till cooked - approximately 40 minutes, at a coarse wager. Serve with sauteed potatoes, and a few eco-friendly vegetables. in case you like some thing very speedy and effortless, decrease up the meat into strips, and stir fry with a pre-packaged %. from the food market, and a sauce. once you're doing candy and bitter, upload extra pineapple (from a tin!). Use an exciting vegetable %., with bean sprouts, pak choi, peppers for shade - that form of element. That shouldn't take you extra desirable than approximately 10 minutes, from start to end, extremely in case you employ those noodles you upload to the stir fry. ultimate of success which includes your cooking - appreciate it, and that i wish your different 0.5 does, too!
