There was a 4 or 5 part series on Channel 4 which aired in about 2002 about the birth of the Commandos. It focused on the Vaasgo raids and The raid on St Nazaire. It featured lots of old boys who were there and they were interviewed at length. Where can I buy this series form?

The company that produced "Commandos", is called "Windfall Films" they do have a website and contacts, if you check out Channel 4 some of the producers still do community talks online with some of the veterans from the programme. If you contact them direct they may be able to help, I myself have looked and cannot find it for sale anywhere.
My favourite couple of bits was the commando in the Norwegian raid that took a little bible from a house he was fighting from, and went back to hand it to the little girl that was hiding in the cellar. The other one was the two old boys in a back garden showing the cameraman some killing moves, wouldn't like to try and nick either of those guys pensions even now...
