The resources don't pollute, it is the use of the resources that pollutes. For example, coal in the ground does not pollute, but digging it up and burning it does. The burning makes smoke, greenhouse gasses and acid rain. Strip mining coal destroys top soil and trees.

If you notice that there a fewer homes in some places it's cause they don't have the energy sources to keep home up n running you no electricity.The more energy the more homes they can build and then more people.
