I've had it for a good month now (or a bad month, taken literally).
It's on the outer part of my leg, about four inches above the knee, and it's almost perfectly circular, almost like ringworm, but different. It's a four-inch circle with one-inch-thick walls, patchy but restricted to those dimensions, and it keeps getting bigger! It's amazing, because two weeks ago the spot that is now inside the circle was all red and itchy, bumpy, the occasional pus-filled protrusion, (you're classic rash), but now it's fine and only the outer rim is super itchy now. So, what is it's plan, to spread a giant circle over my entire body and then disappear in, like, a year? I'm not that patient!
Also, it came out of nowhere. I trust my boyfriend and have been with him for one year, plus I don't shave my legs and they're always covered up with a long skirt and I've never had this problem before. What the hell? Help me!

Itchy + Burny = Owie!

I don't have insurance, so a trip to the doctor had better be well-justified because it means either adding to my debt with the hospital or waiting in line for three hours. Could something well-worth-it be going on?

You should contact a doctor immediately.

Go see a doctor, n explain that you didn't know where it came from. It may not have anything to do with your boydfriend. It could be an allergic reaction to something you ingested. Sometimes when there is a problem in the body it may surface on the outer skin of another part of the body. Sometimes when things are healing on the skin it itches, but get it checked out just in case there may be something inside your system causing it.
Don't be alarmed, it may not be something serious. Most rashes are not serious, I suggested going to see your doctor because if not diagnosed properly, the correct medication will not be used.

Good luck

An at home treatment for ringworm, which it sounds like it could be, is to rub garlic on it 3-4 times a day. Over the counter remedy would be Lamisil. It is for athletes foot and a topical for yeast infections (itching, burning) but has been recommended even for baby rash. Clotrimazole is the active ingredient. Good Luck.

First, go see your doctor. A household remedy you could give a try is diaper-rash cream. It's sold at any store on the baby section.

The pustules make it sound like impetigo. This is a skin infection I picked up on holiday in Milan this summer. It formed circles on various parts of my body. It didn't look too much like the photo in the link below but it can vary.
It's be treated with antibiotics. Don't scratch!! (As if you would)

Sounds like a type of fungus. You should see a dermatologist and get the proper medication for it.
