I have to repeat what I say like twice because he's so enthused with the game, so why does he call when he's playing?

ya..my guy is an online poker player...he wont always call me when hes playing but from time to time he does. i also play so he will give me play by play like i can understand what is really going on...and i cant without seeing it. i'll have no idea hes in a hand and in the middle of me saying something he will be like "OMFG"! its annoying, but at least he calls and thinks i care..lol as long as hes callin at other times and you 2 still go out on have a good relationship...i'd just ask him not to call when hes playing in a nice way :) GL

that just means he doesnt like to talk on the phone. that could mean your boring or that he is just not a good phone talker.
are your covnversations in person good or do they suck? because mabye he doesnt think you guys need to talk on the phone alot, or mabye he just doesnt like talking to you. and he just wants the poonanny

Tell him you don't appreciate when he does thet and if he does it again then just hang up on him, he will get the message very quick.
