Flying within the USA domestically??? If so, yes you can. As long as there is no liquids (such as beverages) that is included in your idea of sweets. If your talking about just candy, it's not an issue. Go ahead and take it.
However, if your in another country, I don't know the rules and regulations of that country, so check with your airline.
