Keep or zoom hot water hot for more time...?

Question

How can you keep (or zoom) hot water hot
for more time?

By example:
You have a regular pot with warm H2O
and you have an egg inside,
u want to keep the warmth for 30 minutes more
but
if u put some artificial/maybe toxic/synthetic substance it will contaminate the eggs and u will die,
so
any such 'substance' must be contained in some bag
or something...

what susbtance U need to keep or zoom the water slightly hot
for more time?

Okay, change the egg for a dog that need to be warmed in the water :)

How about insulating the outside of the pot, so that it will not loose the heat that it already has. Use a thermos bottle. It can hold hot water all day.
