Are you a fluent speaker of Bengali and English?

Question

I am working on a fiction book, and I am seeking people with a Western native English speaking parent and an Eastern Bengali speaking parent. I'm wanting to do interviews to get a feel for the psychology of a person with connections to both. (This is NOT for money. It's for research purposes only.)

Oops. I was close. I was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh. So I speak fluent Bangla, and understand any Bangla.

I came to US last year, and I am still learning speaking English. However, at my work, I can pretty much get by with my English.
