They may be inspired by God to write them, but there is no divine inspiration on the specifics of their writing. Hope that helps.

God Bless

No, not in the sense you mean (you do mean why aren't they made part of our Bible today? Why don't we amend it to include the works, right?).

Jehovah said all He had to say to the Jews through the Torah.

Allah said all He had to say to the Muslims through the Quran.

God said all He had to say to the Christians through the Holy Bible.

That's 3 inter-connected works which give us 3 different ways to get to God. Ain't that enough? lol

Having said that, there are indeed many inspired works since then, works we consider inspired by a man (or woman's) great love for the Creator. I consider many of Nathaniel Hawthorne's works to be sincerely inspired.

No, revelation ended with conclusion the book of Revelation and the last verses in the Bible make that clear. Today's writters try to make clear what the Bible was saying but no further revelation is added. (One reason we do not accept Islam)
Revelation 22:18 "I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book."

Yes, anyone that reads CS Lewis would have to agree that they are divinely inspired. But they are not the words of God.

Keep in mind that God moves people but does not control them like robots, so don't expect these words to be perfect and infallible. He gave us free will after all.

I personally believe that there will be a third and final portion of the bible that has not yet been completed.
