You can make biscuits, scones, dumplings, and coffee cake
make biscuits and serve with sausage gravy or hamburger gravy.
scones...... mix it up like biscuits, roll out about 3/8" thick (about as thick as a tv guide magazine) cut into 4" squares, place on cookie sheet and put a teaspoon of your favorite jam in the center of each, (we love raspberry jam) then fold dough over the jam into triangles, brush the tops with melted butter & sprinkle with a little sugar, if desired. then bake.
chicken & dumplings: boil chicken pieces, remove to cool enough to remove meat from bone, cook some carrot, onion, celery, peas, (whatever you have) in that chicken water, add the meat back, some onion salt & pepper, then mix dough like biscuits, put over boiling soup in egg size balls, sprinkle with parsley, let cook til dumplings are done in center.
coffee cake: mix like cake batter, using milk, egg & sugar & oil, pour into cake pan, sprinkle top with crumbly mixture of butter, sugar & cinnamon, bake.

I really enjoy Heartland Food Products mixes. I discovered them while staying at a very nice hotel. Apparently, HFP was started by an English teacher over 25 years ago and has been providing high quality mixes for the finest hotels and restaurants in the world for the past 25 years. They have a great Vanilla Malted Waffle and Pancake Mix and other flavored mixes with their FlavorKakes. Their products have just been listed on Amazon and are very resonable, easy to use, add water only and incredibly good. The low cost of their mixes make up for the cost of shipping from Amazon. Enjoy!!!

Antique your friends. If you don't know what this is, it's the time honored tradition of throwing flour (pancake mix in your case) into the face of your sleeping friends.

Try using it to coat different meats. I have used it when baking chicken and it was good.
