I have also a lot of friends with different faiths. I think faith is a process and it is a personal choice.
I do not even like the word religion, so I do not consider myself as a religious person. I believe that Jesus came to the earth to free us from religions and to teach us to love one another and to teach us to have a personal relationship with God.
I love to study Bible, but before I asked the Holy Spirit to come to my heart I did not understand His word. I believe that the Bible is true, so God of Abraham is also my God. I do not rely on my understanding.
We do not get saved because we are good. I think that is so great about Jesus that we really get much better deal than we deserve. We fall short from the glory of God. Christianity is not a religion, it is a life style and the way of life. Church is the hospital for sinners. Worship is for God.

You are right to include people of other faiths and religions in your circle of friends. This is exactly what God would want you to do. I am a Christian and I have friends of all faiths also. I even have friends who are atheist and agnostic. This is how we learn about others and what they believe. You are going to find good and bad examples of human beings in every religion. That's because we are all capable of doing wrong. Don't ever base your belief on other people, base it on the basis of their belief. The basis of belief for Christianity is the Holy Bible. This is what I have put my faith and trust in as the truth. I don't always do what it right, but I know Someone who did always do what's was right and that is Jesus Christ. He died on a cross and paid the price for my sins, so that I will never have to. He doesn't exclude anyone from His circle of friends. All are welcome. You should follow HIs example.

Many religions say bad things about other religions. You gotta base what religion according to truth, not on political correctness. A good book to read on the validity of religions is "I Don't have Enough Faith to be an Athiest" God Bless

This is what God has to say about mixing with those who are not with Him.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
If you are a Christian, you are to have Christian friends. There is a difference between having friends and witnessing to the lost.
To hang around a non Christian person raises the opportunity for satan to pull you down into his darkness.
Christians are to be the light that leads people from their own darkness and into Jesus light. To hang around those who do not follow the word of God, puts you at risk of allowing your spiritual eyes to get adjusted to the darkness of the sinful lifestyle. To live without God and to not accept Jesus as their savior is a sin, for they do not live according to the word of God.
The only reason Christians are being accused of bad mouthing other religions is because those people don't want to let go of their sinful lifestyles. So that makes us Christians the bad guys in their eyes. But that's ok, because you shall remain rightous in the eyes of God, and that is what is most important. Praise the Lord!!

The most important thing is to make sure you know and worship the only true and living God. To me that is the God who is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the God of Christianity Who lives in us and walks and talks with us. Christians do not have to run down other religions to share their faith for their God has many attributes that the other religions lack that they can share about. Christians who criticise other religions are not acting in love as their God desires them to do.

Religion is a personal choice and who is good and bad is a matter of views. I'm Catholic, so I naturally think my religion is good and I am not a big fan of atheism. However, an Atheist might not see it that way and believe his/her belief is good and mine is bad. Does that make me right and the other person wrong? No, because it's our views. We're both right. There is good and bad in every religion because of the people in it. Look to the founding cores and beliefs and make up your own mind.

Why do you think that is a tough question? We follow the Bible and it says that Jesus is the only way to the Father, not athiesm, not Islam, not buddhaism, but Jesus Christ. If you will read a Bible it will tell you what is right and what is wrong. Now you have the freedom to believe whatever you want, but Christians believe the Bible.

You can't evaluate the religions with its followers, there will be good and bad followers in any religion. The utmost important
factor is how true is the teachings of the religion.

Islam is the best and only religion, as it shows you the way to live your live and protect you from harm. It gives you solutins to problems and does not merely point them out to you. If you look at the Muslim population you will see that the number is growing evert day. As to the reference to Muslims being violent, Muslims only use violence when attacked and only in combat with soldiers.
