Maybe u can ask one of ur close friends (who is truthful and will not try to harm ur relationship) to speak with him about you. This may sound to be old but believe me, it does work if u'r sending a proper friend who is also very close to that guy.

I would never ask a man how he fells about me. I think its best to wait for him to tell u, and he will in "his" time. By asking him u are putting him on the spot and he may tell u something that he doesnt truly feel just to make u feel good. Men take awhile to sort out their feelings and make sure they are true before they ever tell u, because they know once they do tell u it will change the relationship forever. So don't pressure or seem like u need to know and the moment he says "I love u" it will be so special because u will honestly know it is coming from his heart.

I'd tell him how I feel and listen what he has to say in return. If he feels the same about you he will say so, if he doesn't he will most likely change the subject.
