Accept that only you will find it romantic...unless you are not hetrosexual... So you could send out for Pizza and as long as you're wearing a plunging neck-line, he'll find it romantic ;-)

And what's Spag bog? Is that Spag Bol with poo in it??

A meal is as sexy or romantic as you make it. I don't know your circumstances but if you are nervous about it I would stick to something simple. You could try asking the other party what they would like. If the answer comes back, I don't mind as long as it's with you, you might be on to something.

I would avoid anything too rich in case it leaves unpleasant afters. A nice light meal followed by something really sexy like a chocy dessert might be an idea (a nice light one). You could try M&S as their food is pretty sexy these days from what I can gather although a bit too expensive for me. My favourite pud is probably summer fruits compote and Greek style yoghurt.

Pizza is quite romantic I guess, especially if you share say two different sorts with a salad selection. You could also have garlic bread. It is also, of course, non messy.

Good luck!

Baked chicken with veggies, roasted potatoes, and a dinner salad.
What you do is, buy one of those McCormick Bag 'N Season cooking bags (it should be in the spice aisle at your grocery store.) Those things are GREAT, all of their flavors are.
Follow the directions on the back of the package. Add the veggies too, except potatoes.
This chicken is so GOOD, and easy to make. Using a roasting bag, clean up is no problem too.
For the roasted potatoes, buy a bag of the frozen kind, theyr'e good too. McCain brand is good. They have a variety of flavors of them. Easy to clean up as well.
Make a salad, and buy a package of dinner rolls. Serve this meal witha nice wine, and your mate will LOVE you for it!
Your meal will taste homemade, trust me. I've pulled it off for my hubby too, and he's a picky eater.

how about a pork tenderloin and mashed potatos
to make the pork my way
I take a pork tenderloin cut it in half and put provolone and prochuttio in the middle and then tie it up
Then I take olive oil and put it on the top along with chopped rosemary
Put it in the oven for 45 min
For the potatos
peel boil and the drain water
take a half a stick of cream cheese as well as a half a stick of butter and mash into potatos if potatos are too thick add a little milk add salt and pepper for taste and your done
you can also serve with a salad or another veggie
It is well worth it

How about changing the spaghetti for different shaped pasta and using the same sauce? Otherwise a stir fry - always easy and quick. To make it romantic use candles, soft lighting and good music. Have a great evening.

i think that odering a chinese is a good idea it is very romantic as it is oriental and you can always fake that you cooked it and just hide the boxes!! lying is never good but this would be something you will laugh about and you will both enjoy the meal! it is also easy to clen up as you will not have any pots and pans to clean.
