But Jesus was doing everything God told him to do and he was following God so much so that Christians saw God in him.

Then why do they pray to Jesus and not God when Jesus is gone. and God is eternal?

Enise Jesus told you he is God and you chose to listen to someone else. If Jesus is not God We are all dead in our sin. It is that simple.Let me show you.God created the world God was and is and always will be righteous. He could have made us robots with no free will and we would have been perfect and worshiped God. But God wanted creatures that worshiped him because they chose to.That meant free will. God knew before he created us that we were imperfect but God gave us the law not so we could live up to the law but so that we would see that we were imperfect and our need for him. Now God is righteosus and his righteousnes demands that sin be condemened. The wages of sin is death and all men had fallen short of God's glory. God had awlays had a plan for his creation because even though man was sinful God loved us anyway. Now false religions will tell you that God simply forgives sin. But consider for a moment what that would imply. Could a righteous God agree with sin and remain righteous? The answer is no. God will not say that your sin is okay and forgiven and be in agreement with sin if he did he would not be a righteosus God.But as I said God had a plan of salvation for man. He loved us so much that he came to the world in the form of man to be tempted and to overcome sin to be perfect and to be tortured and die in our palce as an atonement for sin for all who will accept the atonement of Jesus Christ that he provided for us.Who could forgive sin but God? Who could raise the dead but God? Who could die and atone for sin but God? We were created in the image of God. God is more than the father and the holy spirit he is also Jesus Christ and Jesus was God in the flesh. When we were created we were created in this image of God.God said let us create man in our image and he created his flesh and he breathed in his spirit and the two became a living soul. Our creation itself testifies to who Jesus is. He was there when we were created. People pray in Jesus' name because he is our salvation and he said no one comes to the father but through the son. our sin seperates us from God but Jesus is the one who makes the way nd joins us with him by paying the price for our sin. Jesus is with the father in heaven and they are one God They are not differen't Gods They are one God. The father, the son and the holy spirit are one. The same as you and your body and your spirit are one, If you do not believe you are more than one than you are dead when your body dies. And if you can believe that a sinful mortal man has a soul why is it so difficult to know that God is also more than just one.

God's morality is such that He would not make man, without first being a man. All things were made through Jesus.

That is why Jesus called God Father and prayed to Him, etc. He was a man, yet God. He walked as a man would. When He came forth from the God, He was still part of God. Thus, Father and Son. Had He not been part of Him, why would He call Him Father? But to end any confusion: Jesus has the Spirit without measure...making Him God anyway you shake it.

Jesus is God.

We pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus. Jesus told us to do it this way. God is like 3 "personalities" in one. Father God, Son Jesus, and Holy Spirit.

Try study the teachings of other religions such as Islam and Judaism.

In Islam, Jesus is believed to be a very special person. He is a prophet and the messenger of God.

The Prophet Muhammad loves Jesus the same way he loves other prophets such as Abraham and Moses.

The different how Islam look at Jesus as compared with Christians is that Islam never believe Jesus to be God or the son of God.

From the Islamic perspective, Jesus never taught his followers that he is God (or son of God). After Jesus was brought up to heaven by God, certain people have distorted the true teaching of Jesus and as time passed, they start claiming Jesus is God.

Until now Muslims respect Jesus and believe that Jesus never taught people to think he is God.

Jesus told us to pray to God the Father. That is exactly how I pray, to God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Jesus was God in the flesh, and He did not want us to worship anything of the flesh, so that is why He said to pray to God, in His name.

Praying to anyone else, Mary or saints, is useless and God doesn't hear those prayers.

Jesus was no God, but a messenger send by God, like others before him and Muhammad (may peace be upon him) after him.
Iti is the devil who has misguided the people who think of Jesus as God (no ofence meant)

Jesus is a symbol of God. We still say "God bless", and "Our Father". Jesus is the only symbol of God that we have put a face onto, so it's easier to pray to something that we can see.
