Any creature that will punish you for eternity in a lake of fire for not stroking it's ego by worshiping it in a highly proscribed manner that it keeps secret, is capable of anything.

God loves us all, he does not test us
God created life, but how?
i believe in God , but i believe in evolution from the Big Bang onwards.
But what was before the big bang, what caused it, at one stage there was nothing just nothing, where did the first hydrogen atom come from, - God created it.
The Story of Creation is Pictorial Theology.
the Creation story is still the truth, eg God created the world, animals, Man,
Man still fell out with God,etc
but it is written so that the early Jews of the Old Testament and Christians today can understand the basic truth that God loves us and created us.
as the earlier answer said the days of creation are not days in our time scale - God is the alpha and omega - 1st and last.
the Start of John's Gospel says "In the beginning was the Word "
This has many meaning but I believe that one of the meanings is this - in the beginning was the word, the 1st word was
"BANG"

Hello Mr.Creationists, looking for answers Aaa; Evolution and Adam & Eve can both exists at the same time. God and the biological rollout both played a part to get to us today. The human body came from animals, once the animal was perfect with totally free hands, God then breathed a spirit into the animal, this spirit looks like God in brightness. We create with our hands, spirit and mind.

I'm amazed someone posted Hovind's (Dr Dino) website. The man is facing over 30 charges of fraud and tax evasion-he has no money to offer to anyone regardless of what they could prove about evolution because his assets are frozen. Dino embodies the values of conservative Christianity-morally debased and totally intellectually dishonest. The fact that creationists look to such a man says everything about the wickedness of their beliefs.

Who said God put the dinosaur fossils in the ground to "test our faith?" We know there were dinosaurs. Most of them were killed off during the flood, but there have been reports of dinosaur-like creatures around the world even up to the present.

Nowhere in the Bible does God contradict the existence of dinosaurs. Okay, they aren't specifically mentioned by name but neither are wombats and they certainly exist.
God isn't playing with my head. Why would he be? I am much more together than a lot of evolutionists that I know. Anyone who believes that a load of nothingness managed to explode and create a world needs their head examining.
And if they don't believe that nothingness exploded, then they must believe in eternal matter, which seems to me to be a lot harder to believe in than an eternal spirit being.

Why would God put fossils in the ground when a world wide flood could do the job?

What I get and most do not, God is the creator. Evolution is one of the ways God used to create our world and is continuing to do so. Never mind Genesis and the One Week explanation. It is written that way to simplify. It is all true, but the length of the week equates to unknown billions of years.

Yup. And the fossil sea creatures high up in the Himalayas were carried up in the hats of pilgrims and travellers, who dropped them getting over the difficult terrain.

God is dead and faith is only a question of human perception. Faith allows people the opportunity to try to give order to chaos.
In a chaotic world though faith is necessary to keep order. The only thing that makes our money worth anything is our belief it will do what we want it to every time.
