Well, it would probably bother me a lot to. I mean white guys should have white chics, and black chics should have black guys.
I'm being serious here...........mixed marriages or relationships don't really work. The reason WHY he's bothered is because you are culturally different and you are of a different colour.
I know....I was married to an Asian for 17 years......it doesn't work sweetie.

Never, unless one of you tries to influence the other, cannot accept the difference!
Cultural differences can be a great challenge. Accepting this challenge will in the end be very fruitful. I talk from my own experience, my wife being from Africa and I from Europe (and our difference in age is much bigger than yours).

maybe because indian people like to marry only indians, he probably knows that, so if your parents know, they won't allow you to date or marry him. Knowing that, will send him away. He does not want his heart to be broken later, so he leaves you now. You should let him go and date someone your parents like. I've never met an indian who disobeyed her parents. I don't understand it, cuz its your life, not theirs, however, that's how it is in indian culture. So please let him go and don't try to get him back, you will only hurt him in a long run,

Well, if he tries to change you, then dump him. If you can appreciate and learn about one anothers' culture, then things should be great.

If you don't want to change your believes and vise versa go your own way. If the relationship starts with doubt, just let it go.
