depends on circumstances and situations and how the people work together as a couple. You cant pin down ne reason because everybody is different. Could be someone cheats or could just be the two grow apart for example

The Number One reason would have to be people simply getting bored with each other. When there's no mystery left and you've seen your partner on the toilet/naked/snoring, etc., there's nowhere left to go.
Other reasons are having affairs, violence, or the classic "irreconcilable differences."

Finding out you have nothing common....have you ever noticed that old folks who are still married tend to wear the same clothes....so I guess wearing the same beige anorak must be the secret to happiness!
