Your three questions, together, are difficult. If I say I trust what my loved one says, I would probably be hopeful that it is right. Or if I believe only the results or outcome, I think I would be a shallow person. One would have to look at the history of the situation, meaning it would have to be analyzed.

It just is, I do not need to prove anything to myself and I do not blindly hope it is right. Last night I watched a reun movie on tv called "Escape from Sirobon" (probably misspelled the name of the place} It was a true story about 600 inmates Jewish and Russian in a Nazi Concentration Camp They devised a plan that they would walk on en masse from the Camp. One half were killed by Nazi guards but 9 or so escaped to freedom and lived to beare witness to what happened there. It brought tears to my eyes and reaffirmed my belief in God and my religion Judiasm. Yes I KNOW it is right and that my children and my children's children MUSt keep the faith for the innocents who died.

A conclusion based on experience. Faith is not involved. In general, "proof" of philosophical principles is not possible, but one for which I do have a proof is that the predictive power (i.e., usefulness) of any theory derives exclusively from its refutability. This theorem is of supreme importance because it is the logical justification for science. The subject is much too complex to deal with here other than in this very brief outline; I am writing a textbook on the subject which I hope to finish one day.

I trust. I must admit that sometimes i do lose faith. Not always in my belief per say but if i had to do something to appease the forces and i didn't or i didn't do it to the best i always feel that i will be left to hang. They always show me that they will not do that. So when they do something for me i immediately give thanks to the one that created both you and i and then to them because it would not have been possible with out the permission form the most high God.
I test it at times. Most of the times i really do not have to.
But i will ask to get something. I may not get what i ask for. But most of the times i get something better.

well since this is a learned behavior..either one applies depending what you are applying it to..Sometimes you have to have faith since you can't predict the outcome..sometimes you do it because you have done it/seen it done etc. before and know it works or will work. Then there are times we just go ahead and do it and pray it comes out the way we want it to hoping we have done all we can to produce the desired results, like pray, cross your fingers, etc etc (just kidding) Most people I think operate from learned outcomes.be it theirs or someone elses....Good Luck

I think what you are asking is faith. Faith is unseen because there is no way to prove that there is a God and His Son Jesus Christ. Yes, you can see how beautiful this world is but how can you prove it God made it? I feel it takes a personal relationship with our Lord and that to me comes from praying, knowing he is in charge and we are not. Yes, I think he answers prayers but not always the way we want them. Our faith either grows or it declines it never just sets there.

Suppose you believe that praying to God works. When you prayed God answered your requests a few times. After a few answered prayers you will the confidence that God hears your prayers and is real. Of course to really know the reality of God we need spiritual discernment because it is the Holy Spirit who will witness to our spirits thatn we are children of God.
