Jesus was not son of god.
Heres what Allah says in the quran about Jesus, part3 from
verse 45: remember when the angels said
"oh Mary! verily Allah gives you the glad tidings of a word from him ["be!"-and he was i.e Jesus THE SON OF MARY] ,His name will be messiah Jesus, the son of Mary, Held in honour in this world and the hereafter and he will be one of those who are near to Allah."

(3;47) She said "Oh my lord How shall i have a son when no man has touched me?"
He said "So it will be for Allah creates what he wills .When he has decreed something he says to it "be" and it is."

(3;55)And remember when A llah said "oh isa(jesus) i will take you and raise you to myself and clear you of the forged statement that jesus is Allahs son .........

(3;59-61)"Verily the likeness of Isa before Allah is like the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust and said to him "be!" and he was.
this is the truth from your lord be not of those who doubt.

Then whoever disputes with you concerning jesus after all this knowledge that has come down to you (i.e Jesus being a slave of Allah and having no share in divinity, say oh (Muhammed sal) come, let us call our sons and your sons ,your women our women, ourselves and yourselves-then we pray and invoke the curse of Allah against those who lie."

(3;62)" Verily! this is the true narrative (about the story of Jesus) , none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the one and only true god , who has neither a wife nor a son) and indeed Allah is almighty all wise!.

What do you think? any comments? only polite well thought out answers please.

Jazak Allah khairun for this effort, but Christians will not buy it. They don't believe in the Quran. It is useless, they say Mohammed (sAaws) wrote it.....let them be. We have our Islam and happy with it.

That manner miracles are given from God. Judaism is the equal method. In Judaism God presents miracles to Jews and non-Jews (Ancient Egypt-Exodus). It is like pronouncing all comes from God and the prophets participate in miracles when you consider that of God.

Who cares? Jesus, if he existed, died a long time ago. The stuff attributed to him was written decades after his supposed death. It is doubful that more than a hint of the real Jesus comes through in any of the writings. And the Quran was written centuries after that, even.

Islam is the only religion (beside Christianity) that recognizes Jesus (PBUH), and pays him respect. In fact it is forbidden in Islam to insult Jesus (PBUH)
