Its because of the union. Boy you guys don't know nothin. The chicken only lays the marshmallow chicks. The left over eggs are a buy product but the union won't let the chicken deliver them. They got the rabbit to do it for 1/4 the cost. Now the baby ducks are on welfare with no jobs' because they are to stupid to pay the union dues that would save their jobs.

Yeah. It's because the egg came first. It was left to the bunny to look after the eggs until the chicken arrived. But a shopkeeper cut a deal with the bunny and history was forgotten.

It's from when people believed the March Hares layed the eggs of ground nesting birds.

The eggs must represent reproduction. They u no like rabbits and have to hide a lot of their extra eggs much like birth contol.

Because it's Easter and the egg is a symbol of new life. This is a plot by the stuffed animal association. They couldn't sell stuffed chickens and fluffy rabbits are cute and easier to sell. It's all a big conspiracy, man, forced on us by big business. Resist!

Of course they do!
The field next to where I live is full of little chocolate Easter eggs the bunnies have laid. Don't taste very nice though.

He's just a Mascot for the Chicken.
The Chicken is afraid he'll be eaten.
The Bunny is more appealing to kid's .
