Visit alocal travel agent. Although if yo can fly from Gatwick, then go to the Sky break desk in Zone H of the South Terminal. They regularly sell seats last minute on Low cost carriers to those destinations

If the airport is opened it should be possible. Unleas cyprus dont have any visas demands on britain people. Some airlines have book offices in the airport. The best way is to first browse the net to see if any flights leave tonight. Then call that airlines salery department and tell them that you want ticket on todays fligth. Be prepered it could be fully booked. Also except to pay alot... Johan
