especially on those days where its grey and raining, you are tired and grumpy and could eat EVERYTHING in the house.

First determine why you have to lose that weight, is that because you really want it or because you envy your thinner friend who get your favorite guy in the class? If you really want it, it will work.
Give yourself a reward. Instead of spending your money on snacks and fattening foods, go to a fashion store, by some clothes. But, instead of buying something your size, try buying something too small for you, but it must be something you really like and want to wear. Jeans and dresses (not strecth one) are good for this. Just try it, but don't go too far, just 2-3 size smaller. If you're currently size 12, try a size 10 or even 8.
OK then, after 5 minutes of struggle finally you can get yourself in the dress, but now you can't pull the zip up. It's OK, buy it.
Now hang it in front of your other clothes or on top of the stack, so every time you want to get dress you see it. and eep the note in your mind : 'I'll be small enough to wear that, soon" If you have time, try them too see your progress. If finally you can wear it properly (all the buttons and zip up), go on, wear it even actually it still to tight and exposing some gut. It will remind you not to eat too much all day, and a restriction in the waistline will make you feel full faster.
Buy a new (smaller if you can) every few weeks or if you feel that the old clothes feel a bit looser.
Good luck

A couple of things.

First of all, I'm following a low-carb lifestyle. Before I started, I had plantar fascitis (very painful feet), carpal tunnel syndrome, assorted other aches and pains and I was always tired and felt crappy. If I eat too many carbs, it all comes back, whether I gain weight or not. So if I'm tempted to cheat, I ask myself if I really want to go back to feeling like that.

I also try not to look at the huge amount of weight I still have to lose. I have a lot of "mini-goals" and when I hit one I reward myself with a NON-FOOD reward (like new clothes, coloring my hair, a new CD, anything that I would not normally spend money on). Even if the weight is not going down for a long time, if I've stuck to plan (eating right and exercising), I'll still reward myself for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

I look at myself in the mirror and ask myself if i wanna look like that for the rest of my life. Also, i hate how i feel in public, like everyones looking at me cause im fat (and really im only about 15 pounds over weight) but i feel out of place. I ask myself if i wanna feel like that the rest of my life, or if i want confidence. You could post a picture of someone who has exercised and got great results on your fridge. Have a pic of them at their biggest (find a person around your size or use ur own picture) then their results after. It could motivate you not to eat everything in the fridge. And for the rainy days, just don't BUY junk food at all. Then you wont have the option, even on your most tempted days. Buy lots of fruit and veggies and learn how to cook meals. Believe it or not, healthy food can taste great, you just gotta know how to prepare the good ones. Healthy food doesn't have to be carrot or celery sticks. Dried fruit, or fruit in general, can satisfy a sweet thooth. good luck.

Set targets and give yourself rewards. Ease off over the week-end as a reward. Keep looking in the mirror and checking your weight to spur yourself on. At the end of the day it's about will to succeed and willpower.

Sorry, no e book will save you stimulated as such. it would get you going, however the line of weight-reduction plan is a protracted one and your significant better half is you!!!! concentration on why you prefer to foodstuff regimen and save that for the duration of suggestions. Spend a sprint time visualising your self finding slender in spite of everything the weight-reduction plan. Your motivation must be the explanation why you prefer to do it. Why do you prefer to foodstuff regimen? Take that and write it down and stick it on the refrigerator. Write it on a card and save finding at it. My motivation for weight-reduction plan and exercising consultation is that i prefer to look good this summer season in a good T-shirt and denims. i'm aiming for a six-%.. i will see myself with it and that i actual prefer it. you in simple terms could paintings out why you prefer ot do it and then save focussed on that.

difficult question, that one. i know that some people are so determined to reach their goals that the thought of it alone keeps them on track - doesn't work for me, though. since it can happen anytime that i feel like eating everthing in the house, as you put it, and i don't want to beat myself up about it if i can't stop myself i try to only buy food that i can binge on without consuming too many calories. plus, that's usually the nice (important!) but less exciting stuff (for me: chocolate biscuits, crisps etc.). i make a point of having some tasty wholemeal bread (which is filling), spread and fish at home, my sweet tooth is taken care of by stacking my fridge with some nice dairy products (like low-fat, low-sugar yoghurt). and - keep yourself busy!

In my case, it's my health. I am Diabetic and have to be careful about what I eat, no matter what mood I'm in! Although it's a pain having such an illness, one spin-off is that I've lost shed loads of weight and ironically enough I'm fitter than I have been in my life!

What I'm able to do phsically and how I look after so many weeks. When you enter a healthier regime you do notice a difference in terms of your own capablitities (I play football) and as vein as it sounds, I enjoy being able to look at my body after losing weight, or toning up and feeling good about where I've gotten to.

Thinking of my ultra skinny friends on a night out and me standing beside them fatter than them does it for me.
also if you stick a photo of yourself up on the fridge that you hate (when you have the weight on you) and next to it put a photo of what you would like to look like, it stops me opening the fridge.
plus determination if you want it bad enough you'll do it.
