First we must distinguish the Theory of Evolution as propagated by Darwin and his followers with the general theory that living things evolve through time. Some people mixed up the 2 theories.

(1) Basic Darwin Theory:

Life is not created by God or any Supreme Being. According to the Theory, life exist either by coincidence, by chance or through evolution.

For example according to the Theory, life begins from a single cell. From the cell, it evolves to become (among others) monkeys or apes, and the monkeys evolve to become men.

The problem with this Theory is that Darwinians (Darwin or any of his followers) cannot answer in the first place the origin of cell. So, they come out with the theory that cell exist by chance. [Please be aware that certain scientists have studied cell and come up with a conclusion that even a single cell is so complex that it cannot come into existence by chance)

This is the basic Theory of Darwin's Evolution.

(2) General theory that says living things evolve:

There is a general theory that living things evolve through time.

Examples:

Maybe previously the size of men is much bigger but through time they become smaller (the different of this theory as compared to Darwin's Theory is that according to this general theory men are still men. They only evolve to certain extent such as in size, colour of the skin, eyes etc. But they are still men and not monkeys evolved to men.)

Another example is dinosaurs. They are at least two theories. One is they extinct; that is why we do not see them nowadays. The second theory is they evolve and become smaller in size.

For example, the elephant dinasours became the normal size elephants we see in the present day. The tiger dinasours with their long fangs became the normal size tigers we see in the present day. But they are still animals. They do not evolve from animals to become human beings.

Now answering your question:

Muslim do not believe in Darwin's Theory of Evolution as the Theory is denying the existence of the Supreme Creator (that is God).

However Muslims can still believe in the general theory of evolution which says all living things are created by God and God allows living things to evolve to certain limit. For example, men in previous centuries may be bigger in size as compare to men in this century. But human beings are still human beings. Animals are still animals.

Darwin's theory of evolution is not compatible with the teachings of Islam.

However, I'm more interested in answering your second (or third) question. Dinosaurs were not mentioned explicitly in the Qur'an in any way. However, before Adam and Eve (and thus mankind) were sent down to the earth, we know that it was inhabited by Djinns, who wreaked havoc and shed blood (see Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:30).

I was taught that "shortly" before Adam was created, Iblis, who was then called Azazil, acted on God's command to stop the endless war between the Djinns. (Note: He hadn't fallen from God's graces yet back then, and had almost the same status as the angels, perhaps higher).

Anyway, *this is my theory*: The Jinns' wars *might* be the reason why the dinosaurs got wiped out. What do you guys think?

The Quran is completely against Darwin's [theory], and if you have read his book, "The Origins of Species", he had seen certain birds in the Island of Galapagos. Certain birds pecking at holes and depending upon the holes they pecked, the beak became small, short, [or] long.

Based on this transformation, he propounded his "Theory of Natural Selection"," [not] because I have got some proof but because it helps me in classification, in rudimentary organs, in morphology" he said. It was just an assumption. He didn't have any proof.

There [were and still] are, missing links. Therefore, if you have to insult some one you say if you were present in Darwin's time, Darwin's theory would have been proved right, trying to insinuate that he look's like an ape. But unfortunately today in most of the schools and colleges and universities, Darwin's theory is taught as though it is a fact, it's not a fact at all.

There are several scientists who [have] spoken against Darwin's theory. P.P Gracis who held the Chair of Evolution Study in [a] University in Paris, said that just to judge who our anscectors are based on few wastage's, on few fossils is absurd. And I do know that there are 4 types of phaser the Krimnoid, the 1st one they do see, the 2nd one is the homorectus, the 3rd one is the Neanderthal man and the 4th one is the cromagnol.

I am aware of all this, but there is no link at all, that the human being has been created from it, or evolved from it; it's just an assumption. Even the molecular biology that people talk about, the genetic coding is the same as ape. According to Harris Cray who is an expert in this field, he says it is letting our imagination run too wild, to think that the genetic coding and the DNA of the human being is the same as the apes'. There are 100s of scientists who [have] spoken against Darwin's theory: Frank Salisbury, Widmit, several scientists and even recently just a few months ago there was a conference of scientists of the world to speak against Darwin's theory.

So it's just an assumption; it's a theory, it's not a fact but because there was no other theory it took popularity. [The] Quran doesn't suggest assumptions and theories. It may go against theories but there isn't a single statement, which goes against scientific fact.

If evolution was ever possible, we should have now on earth billions of intermediary species, both in types and numbers.
God created a human being Adam, then a female, for production. How can it be that, sometime after Adam, some humans became apes then humans again? No way.
Giants are mentioned in the Quran, but not literally. I read in an Islamic book, that Adam was very tall to an extent that does not exist now.
Dinosaurs were not mentioned in the Quran, regardless of how they were extinct, this is God's mercy, can U imagine them alive today?

will
Islam doesn't believe in Darwin's theory coz Islam believe is man is a distinguish creature ,and that god created man to inhabit earth all these creature around us are created to help man and make his life easier .so Islam refuse the idea that man was a monkey coz Islam respect man and respect his roll in earth.

If man was a monkey why there monkey on earth now why these monkeys doesn't turn to be men !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For dinosaurs they were created to help man at this era and they where a part of the chain which is changed now and the conditions are changed so they have no place now and there is a suitable creatures for the conditions now

We do believe in science, but Darwin theory is not correct (or at least not accurate) and has very little experimental verification (although I do respect Darwin as a great scientist)

Islam reject thought of evolution wholly. Quran says the primary human was once Adam and he was once created via God himself. Then, evolution isn't proved and cant be proved considering that the beginning of the primary telephone the advanced isn't recognized and cant be recognized until any one created it. Even if Evolution exist, there have to be writer to the primary telephone, however Evolution doesnt provide an explanation for additionally the accident of this telephone evolution. According to the legislation of likelihood, evolution is immpossible
