Sounds like her mental stability is failing. Get her some professional help. Seriously. These things cannot be taken lightly, and will only get worse over a period of time. Seek help while it is still available, many mental illnesses can be fixed quicker and easier the sooner it is caught. If you wait too long, it will become permeate. So seek her help.

She sounds like she's happy with herself. Really, what she does has no reflection on you. You could mention to her that it is annoying to those around her, but you can't really force her to conform. If your new friends say anything, just tell them that's the way she is. Recognize it, but don't make a big deal about it. They have to deal with it or not.

lol, funny story, you tell it well. If she is your friend just tell her to knock it off cause it is annoying. If she keeps doing it thinking its funny to annoy you, just tell her very seriously to stop. My bet is at that point she will get the picture.
