that is their perspective. they do find it hard to make sense of someone that doesn't exist. they call us crazy for not believing in something you can't see. go figure.

YOU GOT IT. God gives us the desire to seek him. We can seek him or deny him. You only need to be concerned with what God has for you and seek it. Through the Holy spirit God will give you the desires he needs you to have. Seek him, pray and meditate' and he will use you for his purpose. God will give you the desires and fo-fill your life beyond your reasoning. We get in trouble when we want some thing else and think God isn't there. We can't possibly understand Gods plan for the world all we are responsible for is our own actions when he calls upon us. Thank you for an intelligent question.

there are things, like gravitational force, for instance that we cannot comprehend. here's what i mean: if all planets have gravitational "pull" why dont they smash into one another? science says they have an explanation, but they don't really know.
My answer is "wow thats cool". But it has no bearing on my life, so I go play with my kids or hug my wife or grow food or something productive rather than ponder the geometric and algebraic nuances of it.
And if science thinks they have an answer, it's never any better than "because God made it so"

You can't really compare yourself to God, because God is a fictional character that different people define in different ways. No god wrote anything. There is no God.
However, this is the way Christians think. They are discouraged from thinking too much about it, instead relying on "God did it" or "God works in mysterious ways" or "Part of God's plan" or "You can't know the mind of God". They are taught to be satisfied with that and not question further.

No way, If I need to know something, I get off my duff and look it up or buy a book or take a class. If I need to understand something, I ask Father God and He tells me. Comprende!

God has everything under control, no matter what people may say. God knows perfectly what he is doing.

Non-believers never ask themselves these kind of questions. It's a much simpler life.
