Ever since I installed IE7, my computer is really slow -- the IE7 process takes all the cycles, it seems, even when it is idle! I also have the Yahoo toolbar, Norton Internet Security 2007, Windows XP SP2 (Home) installed. Are there any known problems or fixes?

Norton Securitty uses lots of resources. It's not suitable for some computers with not so good hardware.
I don't have IE7. I use Opera and Mozilla Firefox browsers. But i guess that it could be from some processes that run on startup. Click on start and choose Run. Type msconfig and eliminate the processes that run on startup, the ones related ONLY to IE7. you shouldn't eliminate unknown processes. They could be vital to your computer. If that doesn't do anything, uninstall it and use Firefox or Opera. :P
