Let's face it every religion, except for 1 thinks that they are the correct religion. You also must think of both sides of the equation. Pakastian and India have been at war as long as Jews and Muslims have. Both have their own ideals about what is the correct path to live but, neither could or would ever say that maybe both are correct and incorrect.

Religion is a personal choice, and no one else should make that choice for you.

"I believe I will go to heaven because I live by the Golden Rule."

Much of the world knows the Golden Rule simply as "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" (see Luke 6:31). According to this verse, if we can live by this rule and love our neighbor as much as we love ourselves, we fulfill the Law. Ask those who claim to do this if they have ever lied, stolen, hated, or looked with lust. If they have broken any of these Commandments, then they haven’t loved those they have lied to, stolen from, etc. This will show them that they have violated the Golden Rule. They are under God’s wrath (John 3:36), desperately needing the Savior's cleansing blood.

No person no matter how peaceful they are can justify themselves before a holy God.

Unfortunately in the world we live in today there are many people who seek power who use religion abusively. And unfortunately there is not one religion or branch of a religion that can say that there is no extremists or fundementalists within it. To say this would be an outright lie. While some don't go so far as mass murders of people, but merely advocate harming people in general, the reality is that every religion in the world today (even some reconstructed past religions) seems to have some persons whose true motivation is power and control and they then use religion in order to control others and have power. With this control and power comes great abuse and religion itself is done a great disservice. As if the intolerance and bigotry that is sometimes masked in religion was not enough we now see that those who have an agenda different from that of the various religions will still gladly use the religions to mask their real intentions. It is up to us, the many who follow our religions, to remind ourselves and others that the deepest, core, message of every religion is compassion, harmony, and peace. If we not only remind ourselves of this deep message and help remind others, but also to live it...then not only do we gain the spiritual benefits, but perhaps the world will begin focusing its the window of its attention on those of us from the many religions who actually practice the core message of compassion, harmony, and peace in our lives through the practice of our various religions.

While it saddens me to see religion being abused....all religions, not just my own (I have friends and family of many religions, too)....I always pray and hope that those of us who live out the core principle and teaching of every religion help to revive the namesake of all our religious traditions and paths.

Truth does not need evidence / justification or any other method to show that it is the truth.

It is only falsehood that is always in need of proof's, justification, miracles and various other ways to somehow prove it is the truth.

(Today in RS i learned a new aspect about Islam, that religion is more important than your own country. U can betray your motherland and become a traitor etc etc is fine. Wasn't aware about such good teachings............)

I often hear idiots say not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Muslim, choosing to overlook the vile acts committed by non-Muslims in the name of religion, democracy or other bogus ideals. To my mind, the worst crime Muslims could commit is to sit back and watch in silence their brethren being humiliated, oppressed and slaughtered, thinking they are contributing to world peace by being tolerant of such crimes.

i still choose to believe that there are peaceful people among hindus too, just like not all muslims are terrorists - not all hindus are either

what i've seen from that link is horrible, disgusting, shameful and most of all painful. i pity all those who believe that God will reward them for being a murderer - and u know who they are? .......... lost souls hiding behind religion

shameful indeed

tell me in which society there is no violence. muslims have always been in the forefront when it comes to violence. i will take insults froma muslim. i will retaliate, in self defense. most of these violence that happened in india how muslims died. handful. because they attacked hindus, hindus retaliated. if that is wrong, why do allahs people pull in an innocent hindu who was walking down the streets of Dhaka and kill him inside thier mosque. there was no provocation. they just want to kill. that is mohammads teachings. i can give you a book written by a muslims recording the atrocities ordered by the useless prophet on innocent people.

i will throw stones, becuase i know how to rebuild my glass house. well my glass house does not break so fast. its made of tough glass. it doesnt hurt.

islam is the only religion that preaches violence. there is ample proof. look at the talibans. islam is the most intolerant religion. classical example is the destruction of statues of budha at bamiyan in afghanistan.

most of the violence in india is involving pakistan and bangladesh, both dirty muslim countries. ask any muslims in india whether they are safer in india or are they willing to go to pakistan/bangladesh? the answer is they will not step into those two filthy nations. inspite of the violence where muslims killed, they still find india is the only place where they are protected, feel safer.

here's a challenge to allah, qur'aan, prophet and all muslims - how safe are muslims in thier countries than in india?

why is that only muslims are at the receiving end? have these muslims ever thought about that? its thier bad karma. its time they save themselves by leaving islam and Qur'aan.

islam is not a civilized man's religion. its earlier adherants are those tribals who fought every now and then over petty matters. that tradition has been preserved by them; may be allah wanted it that way.

muslims never like to live in peace with thier neighbours. even prophet never lived peacefully with his neighbours. he was always cribbing, wanting to kill someone or the other over petty matters.

before concluding let me tell you one thing extremist are there in every society. but only in muslim society Terrorists are born. 99% of terrorists in the world today are muslims.

We dont need to prove anything to you..

You carry on with your anti-hindu propaganda alongwith your other friends.
