I had my lip pierced before, but my mother threatened to rip it out (she freaked, it was kinda funny, lol). That was about a year or so ago, and I really miss my piercing so I'm thinking of doing it again (yes, in a different spot on my lip)... my stepsister recently did hers (same age, but doesn't live with me) anyways, she said that if it's pierced on the lip, not the labret, it doesn't scar? Mine didn't scar, but idk... Anyways, I eventually want to do my nose aswell. Do you guys have any suggestions or opinions?
(please don't start with the "you really shouldn't do that if your mother was that upset about it in the first place" stuff, I realize that.)

No it didn't hurt when I did my lip, I didn't ice it or anything either, I just pierced it. I thought it hurt more when I did my ear cartilage.

My ex-boyfriend (God bless him, as he is an angel) had his lip pierced several times. It DID get scarred, giving his lip a weird contour.
Your nose... Nostril piercings are too small-gauged to scar noticeably. And septum piercings, like I had, scar on the inside where you can't see. The open-bottom ones can be flipped up into the nose for job interviews and such. Septum piercings look nice and tough, but don't go well with some people's noses. You have to have a real delicate or elegant, well-formed nose to pull it off and not look like a bull with a bullring. Nostril piercings, in my honest opinion, look nasty and ghetto (but I'm from the U.S., where only low-class people tend to get those - unless it's a cultural practice in their ethnicity, like some Indian women. Those are fine.)
My labret piercings were the most painful I ever got. I don't recommend it unless you want gum erosion and tooth chipping. This happens because as much as you try to avoid it, it becomes a compulsion to chew on it and play with your lower lip by moving it up and down when you have the jewelry in. The inner plate of the jewelry puts friction on your lower gums, causing the painful erosion. No, I don't recommend a labret piercing at all. My tooth has a dent in it and I have two obvious scars under my lower lip due to labret piercings.
I didn't really understand your question; in fact, I don't think you were really asking a question at all. So I just gave you my experience in the matter. And yes, your mother will disown you. Either that or she'll become numb to the whole issue, figure she's already lost a daughter, and pass right over it while counting her losses. :-)
Anyway, good luck!

Lip piercings are hot. I don't have one, but pretty much any time you pierce anything, there's going to be a little bit of a scar.
I do have my nose done. Just a little silver dot. I think it's pretty, and my mom actually took it fairly well. Then again, what can she do? I'm a grown up with a job and house and everything that comes with it. The nose piercing didnt' hurt, and it's healed beautifully. I would recommend piercing with a nose screw, not a ring. Go to someone reputable and follow the directions they give you.
There are also all the piercings that can't be seen by the public. Those are fun, and kind of sexy. No one knows they're there but you. It's like you constantly have a secret.

Well, all piercings once taken out will scar, but the scar will either be minimal or non existent at a quick glace. Often the area where the piercing was will feel hard or different from the surrounding tissue, and this is rather normal. Everyone's skin is different, so scarring in hard to determine, at the most, expect a dot to appear, but fade over time.
If you get both lip and nose piercing (assuming you mean nostril), I think it would look fine as long as you kept the jewelry somewhat small and I prefer to place the piercings on opposite sides, but its really up to you whether or not you think it'll look okay.
Just be sure you go to a professional piercer and take good care of the piercings as to not get infections and keloids. Good luck

I had my nose pierced and I want to get my lip pierced. If you have your ears pierced your nose is way different your nose stings for a while and your ears just hurt but after a day or two your nose stops hurting there is not really any blood at all but that depends on how you pierce you nose with the gun or needle i got mine with the gun so maybe thats why there was no blood. But i really want my lip but i dont want it to hurt. Does it hurt?

Sure, go ahead, pierce your lip, and your nose, and while you are there...pierce your nipples and your labia.
Why not? What does your mother know about today's child? What does the doctor know about scarring, infections, allergies...
Let me know how it goes when you go into the adult world and try to find a decent job or better yet a decent young man to live with.

I put piercings in the same category as tattoos. You will regret it later in life.
