No magnetic force involved. Just that the surrounding landscape gave the impression that a car would slowly roll up hill. when in actual fact, the slope was the other way. Hope that made sense!
Last saw shown on the local news back in the late 1970's.

umm, thats actualy located in Magnetic hill, New brunswick, Canada, just north or Montcon, new brunswick, i know becasue I LIVE HERE:P

Hi,
I also remember seeing it on the TV back in the 70's and I went there to take a look myself. Its near Forrestfield on Holmes Road, halfway between Whistlepipe Gully and Crempet Creek, its also known as "Gravity Hill"

Don't get your hopes up to high, the optical illusion wasn't as good as I hoped for.

PS. I use to come from Perth and now live in Sydney. If you remember seeing that on TV in the 70's then you would remember the Airline called MMA who I use to work for. "The good old days"

Its Crumpet Creek and yes not much of an illusion. The "Electric Brae" near Culzean in Ayrshire (Scotland) is much better.

There's another one near Toowoomba in Queensland but I found it difficult to see the illusion there.
