Yes.Normal temperature for a cat is 101.5.Get it to a vet asap.In the meantime, cool it down by putting cool, damp cloths on it's head, groin, and under it's front leg(where our armpits are).Don't give it any fever reducers,as most of them are toxic to cats.I hope your cat is OK.

Yes it is...The normal temp for a cat is 101.5..It sounds as if kitty has some sort of infection. A fever is the body's way of fighting infection against whatever may be causing it. It would be best to have him/her checked by your veterinarian. Good luck and have a good day!

An average cat's body temperature should be around 99.5 - 102.5. The temperature you are asking about is found in cats who have had a mild heatstroke.
You should check this link for your own decision.

Also, if you are unsure about anything with your cat you should probably check with your local vet. They would more experienced than anyone and calling to ask about it never hurts(even if it is nothing).
I am a cat owner and am studying to become a cat specialist. My advice is to call your vet and consult them. Be prepared to tell them any symptoms like vomiting, irregular behavior, last time he/she ate or had water, ect. They might ask you to bring him/her in so that they can check his/her temperature. If the temperature is irregular, you should definately not try to wait it out. Cat's are not as tolerant to heat as humans are.
Good Luck!

Hi there...cat's normal temperature ranges from 100.5 to 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit. Please consider ringing your vet to arrange for an appointment to determine the cause of the fever. In the meantime, place cool compresses under the belly, armpits and on the head to help bring the temp down.

Yes it is, call the vet. Many things could be wrong but the vet can fix most of them. NEVER GIVE ASPIRIN TO A CAT. sorry to shout but it can kill them. Never give any people medicines to a cat unless under the supervision of a vet.
