I don't know what browser you have, but check the download-manager and make appropriate changes.

If you are using the download accelerator plus go to it's option and then click on the download completion and after that uncheck the Shutdown the computer with action;and if you using another downloader go to it's option again and fix the problem's in your downloader;and if you using internet explore downloader it maybe should for virus.
