This is your decision. Whether it is aright decision or not, it depends on how you see things as it goes by. However I feel that your ex bf had made a mistake by starting a new relationship when he is still unable to let go of the previous relation that resulted in such ending. I do hope that you won't made such mistakes as you know how it feels when your loved one is thinking of others.
All the best to you

Hope not your ex-husband. Well, maybe he was just being honest. Did he ever get back with his ex? If the answer is yes, then you were probably right breaking off with him. If not, then perhaps your decision was just too hasty.

Why? Does breaking up mean that you have to stop caring for the other person. I think you can still love them, so long as the boundaries are clear.
What exactly was your question?

Good job you don't want to be caught up in a relationship where your partner is constantly bringing up his past .
