You might look into a Camcorder with a hard drive rather than writing to DVD's. The DVD cameras are slowly being pushed out of the market due to there size, price of there media, and the lack of long dvd's that provide long recordings. A camera with a hard drive is great, it offers hours of recording time and you dont have to buy tapes or DVD's saving you a lot in the long run.
