During the past several months, conveniently coincidental or sometimes just inexplicable things keep on happening. Some of them are very nice, like many events turning to my favor, or acts of mercy that I truly don't deserve. Others are mischievious. Things will go missing, and after searching relentlessly for them, will appear on my counter. I can't remember all the odd things that have happened to me, but after finding my remote today, I just feel compelled to ask "Why?"
So does anyone think they have an answer?

The more I study religions the more I am convinced that man never worshipped anything but himself.

God doesn't "mess with us". There are consequences for your actions. everything that you do will either lead to good or bad. If a father tells his child "Do not touch the stove it's hot" and the child touches the stove and gets burned, who's fault was the pain? God did not cause it to happen, it was the consequences of the child's actions. If the worst thing thats happening to you is you're misplacing your remote, then you should feel very grateful.

Nothing that happens to you is actually good or bad.

Good and bad are viewpoints.

To prove this, I will say, that what seems good to you may be bad for someone else, and vice versa.

The only explanation to what youre going through is, everything on earth is a TEST.

Test of faith. Therefore, God will send all kinds of things your way, seemingly good bad horrible laughable...etc.

But only one truth remains:

God sends out a calamity to people, and they beg and plead that He saves them from it, and when theyre saved, they know not how to thank, and they soon forget how their prayers have been answered.

Mankind has always been like that.

Dont be like that..and remember God, through good and bad, cause nothing matters save remembering Him through it all.

Like a good friend, you would expect to see by you.

WHY? to make u ask urself why ........ to remind us of His presence

by the way, i know exactly what u're talking about .......... happens to me all the time, and if i were to share that with someone it wold be of no significance to others ....... just to me

EDIT. as for things going missing and being found where u least expect them to be (especially after u have searched that very place like a 100 time) i was told that angels come and borrow that thing from us - but then again, i was just a kid when mom told me this ........... nice story anyway

He does it because he can, and he likes to us react to good things and strange things. lol
In Missouri, he likes to play with the "weather dice" my hubby calls them. It'll be 70 degrees in the morning then it'll drop to 40 degrees by the afternoon, and snow an hour later. lol Only to be melted off in another hour and back up to 50 degrees.
Makes life around here fairly interesting, and keeps us on our toes.

Because He loves us. John 3:16 says "For God so L_O_V_E_D the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life".

"acts of mercy that I truly don't deserve"

You're honest, so I'll be honest with you. Truth is I'd be honest with you anyway; but, it's refreshing to see it.

Whether or not it's God doing this directly I cannot say.
But, if it is God doing these things. Apparently it worked, He's got your attention, doesn't He.

Coincidence and random chance. They provide concrete answers to all your questions.

But, if you feel the need to write these events off to some mischievous, invisible deity, who am I to argue with you?
