Pretty much all the religion believe that if a child dies before he can discern what religion is, he goes to heaven. If people truely believed that, why would anyone let their kid grow up? If you kill the child while he's young (pardon the graphics but this is a serious question) he has a gaurenteed entrance to heaven. If you let him grow up, there is a chance he will change religions (as 13% of people do) and go to hell. True, it's cruel to kill you children, but we're talking about the their eternal status here! Now that my parent's have let me survive into adulthood, I have lost my garentee of heaven and now stand a very good chance of going to hell? Why do religious people let their kids survive?

Because if the parent kill, they'll go to hell... and what kind of parent will kill there own baby? Just the kind that don't have a religion. We believe God is the only one that has the right to choose the time of death for us. O, in the word it states: that it’s your own choice to believe in him or not. Look at the movie Bruce Almighty; it’s actually a great massage for all of us, not just a comedy… You are confusing yourself. Enjoy.

To answer your first question ,I believe in eternal life because we are spirit, only the body dies, a spirit can not die. It will live for eternity. You should believe more in the things you can't see because they are eternal. They are more real than the seat you are sitting on. Now, the second question; Thou shalt not kill. We love our kids and can not kill them. We want to go to heaven too. God tries to get everyones attention at least once in their lifetime. We must tell our kids the truth about God and about life and it is their choice. If we pray for them, they will make it. If we obey God our family will be saved. God has made promises to those who love and obey Him.

We let them surrive because there is something that keeps saying that it is right for the world to continue.

I really don't think there is any quarentee that any child would enter heaven, if so why does God let us continue to be adults?
Adults are just children in bodies that have aged with time.

Things just arn't that easy.

There are many paths to the eternal. Many ways to connect to our Higher Power.

good point. i wonder if people really believe in an afterlife like they say though. I mean why would believers want the best of medical treatment and good health insurance and all. seems to me everyone wants to live and no one excited about the afterlife.
