No, actually I think subconsciously they knock on our doors for us to save them. I mean honestly, surely someone that doesn't believe in blood transfusions...will one day need to be saved. So next time they knock on your door ask them if they want to be saved.

God makes a decision salvation. Jehovah Witnesses don't think that Jesus grew to become into God in the international, as many different religions which incorporate Islam and Jewish do no longer. in my opinion, I actual have met many JWs who have been shining examples of staying power and perseverance. good character could no longer be adequate to "save" even with the indisputable fact that, on account that all of us fall short at a while or yet another. i've got faith we could ask God what God needs from us.

They shouldnt be trying o tell you your beleifs are wrong, They do on the othr hand want to you to think past just what you have been taught. Think What the scriptures are actually saying or might mean. YOu can listen and give them a shot or you could send then on your way. If you want to spare the time and if you are confident in your faith a conversation wouldnt or shouldnt bother you. A theological discussion gets me going everytime. its just that some people follow their church and religion blindly,. They listen to what a man behind a podium preaches and take it as fact, never once picking up there bible and seig if what ids being preached is correct. This is why JW's ask people and encourage people o read their own bible. The pamphles themselves are used by reknown Pastors and even Preist through out the world, because they are well written and can be used with any bible.

A common misconception is that Jehovah's Witnesses go from door-to-door because they feel it is their duty to get a householder to "be saved". In fact, Jehovah's Witnesses would go from door-to-door even if there were no hope that anyone would change their religion, or even if no one would listen to them!
That is because Jesus Christ specifically assigned the house-to-house ministry to the Christian congregation, with no regard for specific results.
(Luke 10:1,2) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. 2 Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.
Jehovah's Witnesses are trained to direct attention to the bible, and move on when their message is unwanted. Since each congregation in the United States tries to call at every home in its territory at least twice each year, there is strong motivation for them to move on where little interest is shown. Also, the Scriptures help the Witnesses to expect little interest from most:
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching ...and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

I was disfellowshipped in 1982 by the Corning, CA Congregation, but I will not try to tell you that I was a elder or anything else, or that I found their beliefs to be false. Like nearly all those disfellowshipped, it was for cause, in my case, having too many females in bed with me. I've been approached many time by persons like the one above, saying I could claim I was thrown out for not believing, and no one would question it since JWs don't make public the records. Notice they never say when and by what congregation that they were disfellowshipped from? Even in my case, I could have appealed the decision.
I would assume that if you were an Israeli, living 1900 years ago, you would also be turning away the apostles and early Christians from your door, because you already were one of God's people and didn't need to hear any other views?
The Israelis were the First of God's people, but they fell away, as predicted, finally rejecting the first coming of Christ, despite the fulfillment of prophesy, because he didn't take them up and destroy all false religions in a battle of Armageddon.
Christians were the Second of God's people, but they fell away, as predicted, finally rejecting the second coming of Christ, despite fulfillment of prophesy, because he didn't take them up and destroy all false religions in a battle of Armageddon.
If you believe in the Trinity, you know the basis of it is the three equals perfection. Two forms of God's people have come and fallen away, so who is the third and final form of God's People, or New Israelites, to bring his people through Armageddon? Is it the JWs, or is it yours? Which of the hundreds of professed Christian religions is this third and final form. It can't be all of them, as Christ said there would be many claiming to speak in his name. So, who are the many who only speak in his man and who are the few who really are?

Dear Kaputt,
I mis-read the question. I took it to mean Do we need to be saved FROM the jws. Just in case anyone else also mis-reads your question I will try to answer.
We definitely need to be saved. But we get Savlation by accepting Jesus the Christ as our LORD and Savior.
The jws boast about what they do and they tell people about what the Watchtower says the Bible says, NOT what the Bible actually says.
I'm very grateful to the person who pasted the material from David A. Reed's book. David says that jws cannot see the Truth by themselves and they need the help of those who do know the Truth. In fact he left the jws when somebody showed him the Truth about Jesus the Christ.

It's true we don't expect many to listen and convert to JW's. But it's a work that god commanded. Like it says in the bible god could have the rocks cry out his message if he wanted but he gave this task to humans and so we go out and hopefully some people with the right heart condition will be reseceptive to the messsage.

Even though I do not believe the "preaching" of the Jehovah's Witnesses, they are people that are lost and in need of prayer and salvation. I know they can be annoying in their persistent quest to be the chosen ones, but please understand this, knowing that they are going to Hell for not accepting Jesus's sacrifice on the cross, is no laughing matter.
