He cannot be just an enlighted individual like Ghandi, Mother Theresa or Buddah.
He was either a liar, a madman or he WAS the Son of God.
The hugest historical event in history, the man who split time into A.D. and B.C. was either the most evil, decieving, nutcase in the history of man, or HE WAS THE SON OF GOD.
What do you think?
Have billions been duped, or is the oldest religion in history onto something.
"Christianity" may have been corrupted, it may have been twisted, it may have been interepeted and it may have been used by legalist and fundmentalist wack jobs to leverage their agenda but the answer is either madman or savior...

Yes, I believe that He is the literal son of God, and was telling the absolute truth. Of course, I also believe that every single human being that is on earth now, ever was, and ever will be is also a child of God, in that our spirits are His offspring. Jesus was different in that his mortal body was genetically God's son as well.
"Christianity" has been warped in many different ways by many different groups of people, but the essence is pure.
However, you can not claim "Christianity" as the oldest religion in history. If that is what you are doing, you are wrong. I hope that I just misunderstood what you wrote.

Yes, Jesus is the begotten Son of God. Even the Roman centurion stationed to man the crucifixion stated to himself that "truly, this was the Son of God." Christianity teaches us that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Light, that He died on that cross for our sins, and we as humans have a choice--accept or reject. This simple act is probably why it is so confusing--because the choice requires simple, child-like faith. We look for proof, and ask for symbols, however some 7000 saw Him after he died, but before he was taken to his Father.
But, to close, and to reaffirm my answer to you, yes, Jesus is the Son of God.

No but he wasn't stupid .... Start on a false note and drive em nuts....do you have any idea what those times were like and how pagans evolved into Christians without changing but a few substitutions . need to get out and read some other sources besides the bible after all people like myself read the bible but we didn't put a blindfold on to all else even though some churches called it a sin to take an honest look perhaps that's why the early Christian church tried to burn the books that they didn't like.
He doesn't have to be one extreme or the other "madman or Savior" how about a normal misquoted exploited misunderstood
rabble rouser of his time .....study harder the fog is thicker then you suspected.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made. John 1:1-3
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
God demonstrated His love by sending His promised Son, the Savior and Messiah, Jesus Christ, and allowing Him to be crucified. God paid for our sins Himself. The Lord is good, just and merciful beyond our understanding.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life". John 3:16
Seek God now. Humbly ask Him to forgive you of your sins. Jesus Christ paid the full price for sin on a Roman cross almost 2000 years ago. Seek His free gift of forgiveness and unending love.
Jesus Christ said: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7,8

I do.
You can't blame what happened since his death on Him. He had nothing to do with how people have interpreted his message. Nor can you blame someone's corruption on him either. He can't take responsibility for somebody elses immorality or corruption just as you nor i can. What a person does in thier life is they're own responsibility and consequence.
So, despite what has come out of it all, the message and story itself is still valid and worthy of peoples devotion.
