Asolutely!!! I force myself to listen to those bands everytime I sin, and that threat alone has kept me on the straight and narrow path.

Remember the Eleventh Commandment? Thou shalt not listen to Coldplay, Lauryn Hill and Creed, for they are an abonimation in the face of God.

Please, check your bible. I'm actually pretty sure it isn't there.

Have you ever thought of the following option: make up your own mind.

Absolutely!!!

I listen to Creed, Nickelback, and whatever I want.....

It doesn't change my point of view, who I am, or what I believe in..... I don't have to follow the singer.... I dont' agree with every lyric that comes out of the mouth those who sing it...... Nor do I follow him who sings..... I like the talent and I like the song....

((man... that was some Barry Manilow stuff there, huh?!))

Coldplay is devil music!

Just kidding! Brother all the good music is practicaly secular music. I love Chris Tomlin, but he's no Bob Dylan, that's for sure.

Before I became a Christian I listen to Heavy Metal. It isn't that we are forbade to listen to certain things it is more of a question as to who we are honoring. Is what we listen to honoring to the God who saved us from an eternal hell? I could see that mine wasn't so I got rid it.

If I were you, I wouldn't let other people tell you how to be a Christian, or what makes a Christian besides the very obvious.

You listen to whatever you want. Don't be brainwashed or told what is right and wrong. You are an adult or unless your parents have told you not to listen or do something, you rule your own self.

IF you feel it is wrong, then it is. IF you feel that it is okay, then it is okay for you.

Of course you can but consider the "garbage in - garbage out" rule. Meaning the things you fill your mind and heart with WILL manifest themselves in your life.
