Well I know for a fact this girl likes me she's a sophomore I'm a senior and I guarantee she feels intimidated. Well either way. I added her on myspace after I talked to her a few times. She was really shy quiet and to herself but she's extremely beautiful.

When we got going on MySpace we couldn't stop we had a convo of about 20 messages back and forth and she ended it by telling me to call her and left me her number. So uhm... yea I was kinda like is she really that shy? Hell I'm afraid to call cause I'm shy.

Anyways, it's weird cause after that day she won't look at me in the halls she seems terrified and avoids me.

I'm thinking of not doing anything right now and tomorrow look at her down the halls and if she doesn't notice me to draw up a cute picture and send it to her over MySpace and tell her I'm sad, then when she asks why I'll say because she didn't wave at me. How's that seem?

I think that would be a start, but she's probably embarassed. By giving you her phone number she put the ball in your court to make a move if you were interested and by not calling you inadvertantly sent the message that you weren't. I think that you might have to bite the bullet and give her a call. You don't have to tell her that you were shy, or make any excuses at all. But if you're still a little scared, you can try chatting her up on myspace again or maybe on an instant messanger. Good luck!

Ask her out. The only reason she feels intimidated by you is cos you are senior and she's a sophomore. And she obviously doesn't want to be "popular" just cause she's dating a senior. She is definitely head over heels inlove with you but doesn't want to ruin what could be (to her) a beautiful friendship. Some people tend to act differently when they are around certain people and she doesn't want to be rejected cos you act like a stuck-up idiot when your friends are around. She's obviously experienced this sort of situation before and has had a big blow to her slef-esteem. Give a chance and leave your friends out of it. Ask her out for coffee and go to a place where no-one will recognise either of you.

why dont you go up to her and ask her why shes not tlking to u and by the discription you gave shes like me (except im not shy)
and id be happy that if the guy i liked came up and talked to me.
sometimes i feel like i dont want to do something and i do it anyway and feel better about it in the end that i did it than wondering what would have happened if i didnt do it.so you should practice what your gonna say to her and give it a shot.

Hey man,

Your story brings me back to highschool. If you haven't figured it out yet, neither of you are doing anything wrong and you should have picked up that phone and punch in her number.

I actually was in a similar situation back then (regarding her giving me her number). Keep it up, you'll be glad you did.

she is definitely shy bcos she didnt know u really well..maybe u need to find some time alone with her and express your self a little bit, find some common interests and maybe this could make her more comfortable to be with you, which should lead to better relationship... i guess

she is shy that's why she is not lookin in your eyes. it took guts to give numbers to a guy who she likes. but its cute if you are sendin that in myspace to let her know you are sad.. i think it will be better...i guess she will start talkin to you in school..
