Everyone keeps talking about Nazi Germany and such, blaming Christians for it. Has anyone ever shown a scripture where Christ advocated war as a solution? Where exactly do you find justification to blame Christianity for genocide when Christ commands his followers to lay down their lives for each other, to turn the other cheak, and to love your enemy? And do any of you know Christ's last miracle before the resurrection??? He healed one of the men who had came to arrest him. That is obviously very compasionate. Can't you people see how contradictory war, genocide and murder is from true Christinaity? What are you actually trying to solve by saying the Nazis were Christians? Obviously they weren't following Christ, so all you are doing is attacking people who are already dead and their eternal fate is already decided, so why the heck do you persist? Why attack dead people? Because they won't respond? Because they are easy targets?

They do not realize that they give God glory by proving the truth in the word. I welcome the persecution, it makes me feel closer to Christ because if every one loves you then you aren't spreading the true word of God. We can not be fence straddlers, so let them hate us, and God already warned us in his word that people would kill and think they were doing God a service, yet if Hitler truly knew God he would not have killed, and if these so called non believers knew God they would not be so mean, and because I know God I can honestly say I love them regardless and God loves them to, and think about it if they were not curious they would not be asking questions about something they do not believe in.

i don't hate Christians or the religion. But what I detest are people who commit despicable acts in the name of God and Christians who are ultra self-righteous.
I believe Jesus is a peaceful person, much like Buddha or Lao ZI. But to keep quoting phrases from a book that's been proven to have contradictions is tad irritating.
Christians are easy targets for atheists simply because you're too eager to prove to the world that you are fanatical about your own religions. Everytime someone else talk about Buddhism, Taoist or other religions, some of you always say that this is Satan-inspired, to lead the masses the wrong ways.
Would Satan ask people to become vegetarians and become non-violent???
Would that be so bad in the eyes of GOD, even if we don't believe him and lived a good live??

So Hitler claimed to be a Christian and someone who was not very bright believed him. It matters not if you call yourself a Christian or not, it is the fruit you bear that tells the whole story. The only mention of war I read about involving Jesus took place in Revelations (will take place). And it is not just tonight that people are hating on the Christians, it goes on 24/7 here. Intolerance for anything goes on 24/7 here.

Christians are also people and they tend to sin and make mistakes when they do not follow Jesus faithfully. When Christians caused sufferings to others they are not following Jesus' command to love others as He has loved them. Anything done not in expression of God's love is not truly Christian. The important thing is that Christians learn from the mistakes they make and not repeat them. Then follow faithfully the commands of Jesus to do things right and bless the world. Christians are blessed by God to bless others and not to hurt them in anyway. If Christians are persecuted for Jesus' sake they are blessed. Keep the barbs coming and the Christians will be more blessed.

The one thing we should all learn from Nazi Germany is that it is within all of us to perform enormous cruelty.

All of us have this awful potential.

Blaming Christians for Nazism not only ignores history, but also ignores this important lesson about ourselves.

I think a better question would be "why all the preaching 24/7?" It's grates on ones nerves and makes them want to get as far away from Christianity as possible.

Praise the Lord when we are persecuted for His name sake! For many things worse than these could come upon us. Thank the Lord they hate me for that sake of the cross and our Lord Jesus! For we battle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, and wickedness in heavenly places.

This is the norm coming from some of the regulars at this site. Aka: Endora, Larry, whynotask...to name a few.
All their questions are full of lies and hatered. I respond back for the 2 points. I'm sick of their stupid questions, so I don't always respond nicely. Shame on me, I know.
