lol. I've wondered that myself. The thing is, they actually do believe it.

But I'd love to know how he got two of every animal on the planet onto the ark considering there are at least millions, if not billions. Seriously, how could his little family have managed to take care of so many animals even if he could somehow fit them all on a little boat? Do you think they even slept?

But wait, that's too logical for Christians. Logic doesn't work with Christianity.

I understand that there are three things believers must accept as truth to be a Xian.

One, they must believe that god created man and woman (Adam and Eve).

Two, they must believe in the flood and Noah.

Three, they must believe in the crucifixion of Jesus, his ressurection and ascension.

Well, we've already blown holes in the Adam and Eve myth by finding fossilized proof of man's existence over the last few hundred thousand years. Adam and Eve were supposedly created no more than 10,000 years ago.

Frankly, there isn't enough water on this planet to flood it the way it's described in the bible. Not in the ocean, in the ice caps, at the Poles, nowhere. It's simply impossible.

As for the the crucifixion of Jesus... well, the Romans were rather good record keepers. Where are the records? Where are the testimonials? The first-person proof that these things happened? None. Nada. Zip. He didn't even exist for all we're concerned.

So, if you can't believe in these, you're not a true Xian. And since these three situations didn't/can't/never happened.. well.. you see where this is leading.

All of them should because Jesus compared his second coming to the "Days of Noah." He said that just like in those days, all the world will be going about its business, caught up in day to day living and the pleasures thereof, when he will come suddenly and unexpectedly. Noah preached for 120 years, while building the ark, but when he and his family went into the ark, God closed the door. The chance for salvation from the flood was over. The same thing is happening now. God is giving all the world time to get themselves right with him, but one day the door will be closed and the chance for salvation will be no more. When you hear the mighty trumpet of God sound, time wll be all over. Jesus will descend from the sky to receive his chosen ones and judgment will begin.

I don't know if it's true but someone claimed that they had found the Ark and I read that too with their photos

Here's the link. Do you mean the whole story or just the Ark? Don't mean to offend you, you must have known the story comes from Bible and Christians read and follow the book of Bible, the answer should be yes. Feel like you are stirring things up.

As a Muslim certainly we believe to Noah that He made a ship
together with His believers and He was a prophet. He asked to God to punish the unbelievers and God informed to Him to build the ship bcz.God will send the big rain from sky.Noah started to build the ship inside a wood.Bcz.to build a ship you need wood
but where He makes ship it is very far from sea.Thatswhy unbelievers kidding with Him and His believers.Christians also believe but Noah asked this punishment to God not to Jesus. So
why they believe to Noah as a prophet but Noah doesnt pray to Jesus as a God?

Holy crap! You people actually believe that everything a bunch of guys wrote hundreds and thousands of years ago is actually true.

I thought you just say you believe so that everyone thinks you must be good.

How do you reconcile the passages in the Bible that are in direct conflict?

Also, each translation of the Bible differs slighty: one version has Jesus walking ON the Sea of Gallilee; another as him walking BY the Sea of Gallilee. Which version is correct? Or are the both correct?

Don't get me wrong, I think faith is a wonderful thing: all faith not just one's own faith.

Contrary to popular belief, faith is not responsible for all the major conflicts: organised religion is responsible.

These are your beliefs. I will not try to talk you out of them or ridicule you for having them, as long as you keep them to yourself.

This goes for you scientologists out there as well. Who am I to say that your beliefs are any less, or any more, ridiculous that any others.

If they are true Christians they believe that the story of Noak's Ark is true. God is not a man that He should lie. This story has a lot of prophetic implications if the Holy Spirit should reveal to you.

I think it is true. There is also some symbolic meaning to the story, in that the earth was baptized by water.

Most likely it's a myth. Many religions have a similar Flood mythology.
