I need to know how many watts my microwave is so I know how long to cook chicken fried rice.

kilo is the prefix meaning 1,000, thus one kilowatt would equal one thousand watts.... if this is for a class you will probably run into some more numerical prefixes so ill give u a few more...

assuming the standard unit is 1:
centi-100th
milli-1000th
micro-1,000,000th
nano1,000,000,000th
