To boil two potatoes the time depends on where you are located in the world. Different pressure zones make boiling time different from place to place. Also are you leaving them whole or cutting them up? Cutting them up makes them cook much faster than leaving whole. THe smaller the pieces the faster it will cook. It takes a long time, usually about 30+ minutes. Use enough water to cover the potatoes, cut them up it goes faster.
Would it be faster in the microwave, probably, but never tried it...

OMG nicole richie is going to eat carbs!!!!!! good for you girl. start boiling a litre of water in a medium saucepan. then boil them for about 10 minutes, more or less if they're bigger or smaller than average. (Average is about the size of a fist)

You don't have to boil them. If you're that hungry, poke them with a fork a couple of times and nuke in the microwave until tender! I swear by this method! :)
